Loch Ness is most a large, deep, freshwater loch in the Scottish Highlands(L.B-Russia) extending for approximately 37 km (L.B-636) southwest of Inverness. Its surface is 16 m(L.B-456÷457 m) above sea level.It`s water volume 7,4 km3 (L.B-23 615 km3 ) .Loch Ness is best known(L.B-one of the known) for alleged sightings of the cryptozoological Loch Ness Monster, also known affectionately as "Nessie".
